Formats preferences
Usethe Formats Preferencesscreen to set th e country default and the
display format of the dates, times, and numbers on your handh eld
computer.

Country default

Thecountry default sets date, time, week start day, and number
conventionsbased on geographic regions where you mightuse your
handheldcomputer. For example,in the United K ingdom, time often
is expressed using a 24-hour clock. In the United States, time is
expressed using a 12-hour clock with an AM or PM suffix.
Allyour handheld computer applications use the Country default
settings. You can, however, customize your own preferences. See the
“Time,date, week start, and numbers formats” section later in this
chapter.
Toset the country default:
1. Tapthecountrynamepicklist.
2. Tap the setting you want to use.

Time, date, week start, and numbersformats

The Time setting defines the format for the time of day. The time
format that you select appears in all applications on your handheld
computer.
Toselect the time, date, week start, and numbers format:
1. Tap the Time pick list and select a format.
