Global Server Network (GSN) option
TheSMARTBridgit GlobalServer Network (GSN) is anetwork of SMARTBridgits erversat different
geographicallocations. The GSN optimizes bandwidthand reduces latency by detecting thef astest
serverin each GSN and then automatically connectingthe client to t hat server,regardless of the
serverthey initially connectedto.
Forexample, if there are five clients in North America and five clients in Europeall connectingto t he
samemeeting, and the GSN consists of one serveron each continent, each client automatically
connects tothe nearest, fastest server. Thisresults in only onehigh latency overseasconnection,
insteadof f ive overseasc onnections.A GSN works just as well for different buildingsin the same
city, or even different networks in the same building.
Downloading SMART Bridgit client software
Beforeyou can join or presentin a meeting, you need to downloadSMARTBridgit client software
eitherby clicking a link in ane-mail invitationor by using yourinternet browser.

Youdon't need toinst allthe SMARTBridgit client softwareafter you downloadit. The client is self-
contained,and you can downloadit to y ourdesktop and start it from there.
gTo download thecli entsoftware from an e-mail invitation
1. Click t helink in the body of the e-mailinvitation.
2. Run the software.
TheSMARTBridgit software dialogbox appears.
gTo download theclient software from theSMA RT Bridgit server
1. In your internetbrowser, go to your SMARTBridgit server.
2. Click t heD ownload Softwarelink, and then runt hecl ients oftware.
