MARKING AND SEARCHING
You can mark any point in a disc and start play from there.
Using search functions, you can easily locate a desired point on a
disc.

MARKING

You can mark up to 5 DVDs, each with up to 5 points.
Also, you can mark up to a total of 10 audio CDs and video CDs,
each with up to 5 points.

Play the disc and locate the desired point to mark.

You can use functions such as "FAST FORWARD/REWIND",
"SKIPPING" or "SEARCH" to locate your desired point.

Press MARK.

"" appears on the monitor screen and the unit enters the Mark
mode. The current Mark memory number is highlighted by the
cursor.

Press ENTER or c.
The current location is marked in the Mark memory.

Press MARK again to exit the Mark mode.

To mark other points
1Follow steps 1 and 2 of "MARKING" above.
2Press j or l to move the cursor, or press a correspording
number button (1-5), to select the desired Mark memory position
(*).
3Follow steps 3 and 4 of "MARKING" above.
NOTE
If the title search, chapter search or time search function is used
to locate the desired point, " " clears. If this happens, press MARK
to call up " ". (For DVDs, " " also clears when the skip function is
used.)
To play from a marked point
1Press MARK.
"" appears on the monitor screen and the unit enters the Mark
mode.
2Press j or l to move the cursor, or press a corresponding
number button (1 - 5), to select the desired Mark memory
number.
3Press ENTER or c.
Play starts from the marked point.
NOTE
When play is started from a marked point, the "Audio Language"
and "Subtitle Language" are set to the ones selected when the
point was marked.
To clear a marked point
1Press MARK.
"" appears on the monitor screen and the unit enters the Mark
mode.
2Press j or l to move the cursor or press a corresponding
number button (1 - 5) to select the desired Mark memory
number.
3Press C.
The Mark memory is cleared.

TITLE SEARCH (DVD ONLY)

You can specify the playing location of a D VD b y the title number.

Press T-SEARCH.

Press the numbered buttons to enter the desired

title number.

Example:
To play title number 2, press 2.
To play title number 10, press +10.
You can also use i or k to change the selected track number
on the monitor screen.
If you entered a wrong number
Press C to remove the number you entered. Then enter the
correct number.

Press ENTER or c.
Play begins at the specified title.
NOTE
If you specify a title number which does not exist on the disc, the
symbol is displayed. In this case, repeat from step 1 with a
valid title number.
