3Use the arrow keys to highlight Print Servers in the menu and press Enter.

If available, a list of available print servers appears.

4Select a print server or, if the print server does not yet exist, press Ins, type the print server name, and press Enter.

IMPORTANT The print server name you enter in PCONSOLE must match a print server NLM, VAP, or a RPRINTER.EXE stored on a dedicated computer.

5In the Print Server menu, select the print server you want to use and press Enter.

The Print Server Information menu appears.

6Select Printers and press Enter.

The Defined Printers menu appears, displaying options for configuring the print server.

7Select a printer or, if there is no defined printer, press Ins, type the printer’s name, and press Enter.

8Select a printer and press Enter.

A configuration window for the selected printer appears.

9If necessary, type an unassigned printer number for your printer and press Enter.

A Configuration window appears for the selected printer.

10Press the down arrow key to move to the “Printer type” field and press Enter.

A menu of printer types appears.

11From the list of printer types, select Other/Unknown and press Enter.

Other/Unknown now appears in the Type field of the Configuration window.
