6Click the Install button.

The Installer takes a few moments to calculate what needs to be done and then begins to copy files.

7Follow the instructions on the screen until the installation is complete.

After the installation, the Installer tells you to restart your computer.

8Click the Restart button.

The software is now installed and the printer is ready for use. If you turned off any automatic virus-detection programs on your computer, turn them back on now. After installing the printer software, you need to set it up to use the printer. See “Selecting and Setting Up the Printer” in Chapter 6.
