Accessing IS-III Applications

Overview
This chapter provides the procedures you will use to access the IS-III applications installed on your system. Using IS-III, you can access and administer the following applications:
■AUDIX Voice Power (AVP)
■FAX Attendant (FA)
■Call Accounting System (CAS)
■System Programming & Maintenance Utility (SPM)
NOTE:
AUDIX Voice Power may be present standalone or co-resident with FAX Attendant. However, FAX Attendant is only present with AUDIX Voice Power; it is not a stand-alone product. As a result, if you have AUDIX Voice Power and FAX Attendant, they will appear as one option in the Integrated Solution III Main Menu.
IS-III also provides the Integrated Administration feature, which allows you to perform both switch system programming and application administration simultaneously by selecting choices from application-oriented menus and by filling in blanks on application-oriented forms. Integrated Administration allows information to be entered only once. All necessary switch system programming is propagated by AUDIX Voice Power and FAX Attendant to the MERLIN LEGEND Communications System. Integrated Administration is performed via the Extension Directory option in the Integrated Solution III Main Menu.
