Setup for Polling Receive with Secure Code

You need to make sure you are using the same ID number as the other party.

1Press Menu, 2, 8. The screen displays

POLLING:STANDARD

SELECT { } & SET

2Press or to choose SECURE.

3Press Set.

4Enter a four-digit number.

This should be the same as the security code of the fax machine you are polling.

5Press Set.

The screen prompts you to enter the fax number you want to poll, and then to press Start.

ENTER FAX NO.

THEN PRESS START

6Press Start.

Setup Delayed Polling Receive

You can set your machine to begin Polling Receive at a later time.

1Press Menu, 2, 8. The screen displays

POLLING:STANDARD

SELECT { } & SET

2Press or to choose TIMER.

3Press Set.

4The screen prompts you to enter the time you want to begin polling.

SET TIME=15:25

5Enter the time (in 24-hour format) you want to begin polling. For example, enter 21:45 for 9:45 PM.
