When to Replace the Battery Pack

The battery pack is a consumable item, and after long use the amount of operating time provided by a fully charged battery can become quite short. This indicates it is time to replace the battery pack with a new one.

When the “Deteriorate Rate” of the Battery Report reads less than 30%, it is probably time to replace the battery pack.

The values that appear in the Battery Report are provided for general reference only. Actual operability of the battery is affected by operating environment and other conditions.

Using the Large-capacity Battery Pack

Important

Use the optionally available battery pack (MPC-173BAT or MPC- 174LBAT) when you need to operate FIVA for longer periods without AC adaptor power. The large-capacity battery pack provides about four hours of continuous operation on a full charge. The operation of the standard battery pack and the large-capacity battery pack included in standard is the same. (Attaching/Removing)

Be sure you use the correct battery pack. On the “Options List” (page 124) , find the battery pack whose model number matches the number marked on the battery pack.
