To restore power, press any key or button.

In the Standby Mode, the LCD and other devices are put into a suspend state. The status of Windows 98 and any applications that are running is retained in memory, so they can be restored and used immediately after leaving the Standby Mode. This means that Windows 98 is restored within the shortest time from this mode, but it also means that this mode requires more power consumption than that of the other two modes. The Standby Mode is best when you plan to be away from the computer for only a short time and need to immediately pick up from where you last left off when you return. Tappling the keyboard or other controls on FIVA automatically recovers from the Standby Mode.

When you need to leave FIVA on for a long time while using battery power only, shut down Windows 98 from the Start menu or press the power switch to enter the Hibernation Mode.
