Restoring the BACKED-UP Data | Compaq 2100 specs

STEP 5: RESTORING THE BACKED-UP

DATA

Power on your Compaq Aero 2100.

Connect the device to the computer to which you have just made the backup, and use ActiveSync to synchronize your desktop computer with your device.

Fully restore the data using the ActiveSync Backup/Restore utility.

NOTE: For more information on using ActiveSync to restore data, see ActiveSync Help on your desktop computer.

After restoring the data, disconnect your Compaq Aero 2100 from the computer by removing it from the cradle.

Reset the device: Use the stylus to push the reset button found inside the small hole on the back panel.

Your Compaq Aero 2100 Series is now ready to use.

NOTE: If you used the CF Backup/Restore Utility for backing up your data to a CompactFlash card, you need to use the same application to restore it.
