Turn off the device.
Turn over the device and slide the cover of the battery compartment downwards Ê so that you can remove it completely.

Removing the Battery Compartment Cover
Take the battery out of the battery compartment.
Insert the new battery into the compartment Ë. Align the battery as shown on the placement label Ì inside the battery compartment. Verify that the terminal end of the pack is adjacent to the terminals inside the battery pack compartment.
Slide up the cover of the battery pack compartment so that it locks in place.
