Sending Discrete Power On and Off

Removing the Recover Button Channel Programming

The following instructions describe how to reset RECOVER to restore satellite TV viewing

by tuning your TV (or VCR) to channel 3, 4, and other inputs.

SENDING DISCRETE POWER ON AND OFF

Installers use Remote control discrete power ON and power OFF IR commands when

programming macro commands into universal remotes. Using an ON-only or OFF-only

command is more effective than a toggle ON/OFF command when trying to make sure the

satellite receiver is reliably in one state or the other. To use discrete power commands,

complete the following:
