17Preconfigure Destinations for the HP Instant Share E-mail service, completing the fields required in each screen.

After you are finished creating Destinations, the Set Up Your HP Instant Share Destination screen appears.

The Destination(s) you created display in the Current Destinations on your Share Menu list.

18Click Done.

The Setup application writes the HP Instant Share Device ID and passcode to the device.

The HP Instant Share Setup Assistant Conclusion screen appears.

Note: If you do not complete the HP Instant Share configuration, a message appears informing you that setup was not completed and HP Instant Share was not enabled in the device.

19Click Quit.

The Setup application closes and exits.

20Print a network configuration page.

For more information, see print a network configuration page on page 203.

21Verify that the DNS IP address is recorded.

If a Proxy server is used, make sure that the server’s IP address and port number are recorded.

If the information is not recorded:

Obtain the DNS and Proxy server IP addresses, as well as the Proxy server port number, from your Internet Service Provider (ISP). (Obtain the IP addresses and port number from the servers if the servers reside on your network.)

Enter the information in the embedded Web server. For more information, see wireless network setup on page 141.

use the e-mail button

The E-mail button on your HP PSC lets you easily send a selected photo to anyone with an e-mail account. For more information see use a photo memory card on page 21.

1Select one or more photos from your photo memory card.

2Press E-mail.

The E-mail List appears on the color graphics display of your HP PSC.

The E-mail List is an abbreviated version of your Share Menu, consisting only of e-mail Destinations.

3Press the number on the front panel that corresponds to the number of the Destination to which you want to send the photos.

Your HP PSC sends the photos to the HP Instant Share server and sends an e-mail message to the recipient with links to the photos.

Note: If you want to change the e-mail message before you send it, or add more Destinations, open the HP Director from your computer. From Settings, select HP Instant Share Setup. Log in to HP Instant Share with your

HP Passport username and password, and then edit or add Destinations.
