Information Menu

This menu contains printer information pages that give details about the printer and its configuration. To print an information page, scroll to the desired page and press [Select].

Item	Explanation

24+06	The menu map shows the layout and current settings of the control
/'07/#2	panel menu items. For more information, see page 93.

24+06	The configuration page shows the printer’s current configuration. If
%10(+)74#6+10	an HP JetDirect print server card is installed (HP LaserJet
	4000 N/4000 TN printers), a JetDirect configuration page will print
	out as well. For more information, see page 94.

24+06	The PCL font list shows all the PCL fonts currently available to the
2%.(106.+56	printer. For more information, see page 96.

24+06	The PS font list shows all the PS fonts currently available to the
25(106.+56	printer. For more information, see page 96.

24+06	This item appears only when a mass storage device (such as an
(+.'&+4'%614;	optional flash DIMM or hard disk) containing a recognized file
	system is installed in the printer. The file directory shows information
	for all installed mass storage devices. For more information, see
	page C-1.

24+06	The event log lists printer events or errors.

*519**	This item allows you to view the most recent printer events on the
'8'06.1)	control panel display. Press [-Value+]to scroll through the event log
	entries.

24+06	The paper path test can be used to verify that the paper path is
*2#2'42#66'56**	working properly, or to troubleshoot problems with a type of paper.
	Choose the input tray, output bin, duplexer (if available), and number
	of copies.
