mount directory

The directory in an existing ￿le system that is the root directory of a mounted auxiliary ￿le system.

multiuser state

The condition of the HP-UX operating system in whic h the cluster nodes (and console) allow comm unication between the system and all its users.

A feature of HP-UX that pro vides the user with in ternationalized softw are and the application programmer with tools to dev elop this softw are.
