The LAN station address of y our system is the label that uniquely iden ties the LAN connection for it at the link lev el (the hardware level). It is sometimes necessary for y ou to supply this address to other users. F or example, if your system is to become a mem ber of a cluster, the cluster administrator needs to kno w your LAN station address in order to add y our system to the cluster.
