	The following conditions apply for pointer sequence generation:
NOTE
	The sequences can only be applied to the SPE pointer when the SPE does
	not contain a VT structure, otherwise it is applied to the VT pointer.
	Pointer sequence generation is not available when a frequency offset is
	being applied to the Line Rate.
	The following ﬁgure gives an example of a T1.105/GR-253, 87-3 Pointer

An Example of a Pointer Sequence

Pointer Sequence	Description

T1.105 A1 SINGLE	Periodic Single adjustments, all of the same polarity which is
GR-253 5-29	selectable. Separation between pointer adjustments is ﬁxed at
	approximately 30 seconds.

T1.105 A2 BURST OF 3	Periodic bursts of 3 adjustments, all of the same polarity which is
GR-253 5-30	selectable. The interval between bursts is ﬁxed at approximately 30
	seconds. The interval between adjustments within a burst is set to
	the minimum.
