A.2 SP Switch Pool Size Settings
Two important switch parameters were changed from their default values: rpoolsize and spoolsize. To check the current values, enter:
lsattr
and look for rpoolsize and spoolsize. 512 KB per processor is the default size. Both values should be increased if high I/O traffic is expected on the SP Switch. To increase both values to 5 MB (as applied in all of our scenarios), enter:
/usr/lib/methods/chgcss
For the changes to take effect, the SP nodes must be rebooted.
