B.18 /etc/syslog.conf
Use this file to specify the type of logging in the system. If no additional hard disk is installed, logging can be directed to another network attached system; otherwise local files are used.
Stanzas in /etc/grcons.log.conf determine how large the respective files may grow and how many versions are kept of them.
