Making Scan Data Subject Settings

Subject information can be added to the scan data files. This information added to the data to be delivered. When the file is delivered by e-mail with optional ScanRouter V2 Profes- sional, the subject is automatically en- tered as the title in the subject of the e- mail. If you often send files with sim- ilar content, storing subject names will allow you to easily select a sub- ject at the time of delivery.

The subject can be up to 16 characters long. Up to 12 subjects can be stored.

Note

❒To deliver the file by e-mail, op- tional ScanRouter V2 Professional is necessary.

❒The subject can be set when "On" in the "Delivery Option" of Initial Scanner Setup is set.

Setting Procedure

This section describes the steps for making subject settings.

A Press the {User Tools/Counter/Inquiry}

B Press [Scanner Features].

C Press the [Subject Settings] tab.

D Verify that [Program/Change] is se- lected, and select the subject you want to program.

E Enter the subject string.

❒If an item is selected for which a subject is already programmed, the subject can be edited.

Press [OK].

To program more subjects, repeat steps D to F.

Press [Exit].

The display returns to the Scanner Features screen.
