BWhen the original is placed on
the ADF
The maximum scan size is
432mm (17”) in the Y direction
(width) and 297mm (11.7”) in
the X direction (height). Keep
the scan area settings within
this range.
EWhen all dimensions have been
entered, press [OK].
FVerify that the area set in step D
(X3 and Y3) is shown next to the
[Custom size] field, then press [OK].
GPress [Exit].
The User Tools/Counter/Inquiry
screen is shown.
HPress [Exit].
The main menu is shown again.

Deleting programmed scan settings

screen appears.
BPress [Scanner Features].
The Scanner Features screen ap-
pears.
CVerify that the [Basic Settings] tab
is shown.
DPress [Delete].
ESelect the setting you want to de-
lete.
A confirmation message appears.
