B When the original is placed on the ADF

The maximum scan size is 432mm (17”) in the Y direction (width) and 297mm (11.7”) in the X direction (height). Keep the scan area settings within this range.

E When all dimensions have been entered, press [OK].

Deleting programmed scan settings

A Press the {User Tools/Counter/Inquiry}

The User Tools/Counter/Inquiry screen appears.

B Press [Scanner Features].

F Verify that the area set in step D (X3 and Y3) is shown next to the [Custom size] field, then press [OK].

G Press [Exit].

The User Tools/Counter/Inquiry screen is shown.

H Press [Exit].

The main menu is shown again.

The Scanner Features screen ap- pears.

C Verify that the [Basic Settings] tab is shown.

D Press [Delete].

E Select the setting you want to de- lete.

A confirmation message appears.
