Double Click “AppleT alk ” ic on and the AppleT alk configur ation window will pop - up .

Mac intos hes . T he pr inter ser ver can us e these param eters to j oin the AppleT alk network and shar e the pr inter to other AppleT alk work stations . You have to s etup the “Zone Nam e” and “ Pr inter T ype” for each pr inter por t of this pr inter ser ver .
Zone Name : Pr inter s er ver has to join zones of AppleT alk befor e it can be shar ed to other work stations . Onl y wo rk stations in the s am e zone can s har e the printer . If you want to s har e the pr inter to all work stations in all Z ones , you s hould enter onl y “ *” in the “Zone Nam e” field .
Printer T ype , the t ype of pr inter attached to eac h pr inter por t . You can get the pr inter t yp e from the m anufactur er of the pr inter .
