8.4.2 Wireless Setting (For WPS -9123 only)
If you want to use the pr inter s er ver thr ough wir eless LAN, pl eas e set up the printer s er ver through Ethernet fir st and m ak e sur e your wir eless LAN setting is corr ec t . After setting the wir eless LAN, unplug the Ether net cable and res tart the printer s er ver , then you can start to use the pr inter s er ver thr ough wir eles s LAN . If the wir eless c onf iguration does not work , pleas e plug the Ethernet c able again, r estart the pr inter ser ver and configure the printer s er ver thr ough Ethernet until the
wir eless LAN settings are c orrec t .
You can enable/dis able the wir eless function and s et par am eters that are used f or the wir eless stations to connec t to this pr inter s er ver fr om her e . T he param eters include “F unction” , “ Mode” , “ ESSID” and “ Channel Num ber ” . You c an m anuall y s et the param eters of wir eless LAN in this page or us e the “ S ite Sur ve y” function to autom atic all y s earc h f or an available acc ess point and assoc iate with it .
Function: You c an select “ Auto”, Enable” or “Dis able” to m anuall y conf igur e the wir eless function .
Auto – “Auto” is the default setting of the printer server. At this mode, the printer server will automatically decide to enable or disable the wireless function. When the printer server starts up, it will
