3Locate the option card you want to remove.

4Gently pull the option card out of the connector slot on the system board.

5Place the card in its original packaging, or wrap the card in paper and store it in a box.

6If you do not plan to insert another card, reattach the metal plate that covers the connector slot.

7Secure the other end of the metal plate to the system board with the screw.

8Reinstall the access panel (see Reinstalling the system board access panel).
