Loading thick media on the scanner glass
1Open the scanner lid.
2Place the thick media facedown on the scanner gl ass. Close the scanner lid.
3Touch Preview.
The Instant Preview screen appears.
Warning—Potential Damage: Loading media that are more than 10 mm thick may cause damage to the scan ner
lid.
Saving paper default settings
You can set the default paper settings for the documents and photos that you print.
1From the home screen, navigate to:
> Paper Setup
2Choose the default settings:
•If you want to set the default paper size, then navigate to:
Paper Size > select th e default paper size > Accept
•If you want to set the default paper type, then navigate to:
Paper Type > select the default paper type > Accept
