Creating a contact list
You can create a contact list using the Address Book in the printer control p anel or the phone book in t he fax software.
If you create a contact list in the printer control panel, then the fax software automatically saves those contacts as
Phonebook entries. Lik ewise, when you add co ntacts to the fax sof tware, the printer automatically sa ves them to the
printer Address Book.
You can save up to 89 contacts and 10 fax groups in the contact list.

Creating a contact list using the pri nter control panel

1From the home screen, navigate to:
> Address Book
2To add a contact:
aNavigate to:
Add a Contact > Add Contact Name
bEnter the contact n ame, and then to uch OK.
cTouch Add Fax Number.
dEnter the fax number of the contact, and then touch Accept.
eTouch Accept again.
fIf you want to add another entry, then repeat s teps a through e.
3To add a fax group:
aNavigate to:
Add a Group > Add Group Name
bEnter a group name, and then touch OK.
cTouch Add Group Member, and then select whether you want to add a cont act manually or import a contact:
Address Book—Import a contact from the Ad dress Book.
History—Import a contact from the fax history.
New Entry—Add a new contact.
dTouch Accept to save the entry every time you import a contact or add a contact.

Creating a contact list using the fax software

For Windows users
1Click or Start.
2Click All Programs or Programs, and then select the printer program folder from the list.
3Navigate to:
Printer Home > select your printer > Fax tab > Edit contact list
The Contacts tab of the Printer Setup Utility opens.
4Click Select from phonebook > select your phone book.
