Nvram initialize Command

Use the nvram initialize command to reset the Cajun P330 parameters to the factory defaults. If no options are specified for this command, only the Layer 2 parameters will be reset.

The syntax for this command is:

nvram initialize [switchall]

switch

Resets all the switching level parameters (Layer 2 only) throughout

 

the stack

all

Resets all parameters including routing parameters of the

 

Cajun P333R modules present in the stack

Example:

Cajun_P330-N# nvram initialize

This command will force a factory default and switch-over to the master module and disconnect your telnet session.

Configure Command

The configure command is not used in the Cajun P332MF switch but is used with the P333R Router (please see the P333R User Guide).

Rmon history Command

Use the rmon history command to create an RMON history entry.

The syntax for this command is:

rmon history <history index> <interface> interval <interval> buckets <number of buckets> owner <owner name>

history_index

This is the history index number of this entry (it is advisable to

 

use the same interface number as your history index number.)

interface

The Interface number is a unique number for each port which

 

can be calculated as follows:

 

1024 x Module Number + Port Number

 

For example: Port 3 in Module 1 has an Inter Number of 1027.
