Break Supervision This CO type of line should be programmed if your line is supervised. This means that the exchange will
send a signal to the called party if the caller party did not hang up.
• From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “System Programming” is displayed.
• Select “System Programming”.
• Enter the System Programming Password and select “Lines”.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “PSTN Programming” is displayed.
• Select “PSTN Programming”.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “Break Supervision” is displayed.
The Lines with Break Supervision line programmed are indicated with a “♦”.
Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.
This CO type allows users to identify that a call has been answered. This facilitates the management of
the duration of the call at the time of a call.
From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “System Programming” is displayed.
• Select “System Programming”.
• Enter the System Programming Password and select “Lines”.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “PSTN Programming” is displayed.
• Select “PSTN Programming”.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “Reversal on Answer” is displayed.
The Lines with Reversal on Answer line programmed are indicated with a “♦”.
Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.
In some states it is a requirement that the extension that dialed an emergency number is identified to the
Emergency Services. This is achieved by setting the E 911 service on for the system.
• From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “System Programming” is displayed.
• Select “System Programming”.
• Enter the System Programming Password and select “System”.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “911& extension number” is displayed.
• Select the “On” option.
Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.
