If the switch is equipped with a E1 PRI and some CO lines/IP Trunks then “Incoming Ringing” is
programmed as follows: -
• From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “System Programming” is displayed.
• Select “System Programming”.
• Enter the System Programming Password and select “Lines”.
• Select “Incoming Ringing” option.
• The menu updates to show only the “PRI” option
• Select either “'PRI” or Line 24 - Line 27, IP Trunk 1 - IP Trunk 12
• Continue the programming as described above
In the case of E1 PRI the B-channels cannot be separated so the full PRI is programmed to ring an
extension or group. It can also be programmed for Courtesy or Auto Attendant service.
Note: Lines 24 – 27 (T1 PRI) are the CO lines. IP Trunk 1 – IP Trunk 12 are the VoIP lines. Only those
equipped are displayed.
No D-Channel backup is provided for the PRI Line.
Lines 31 – 34 (E1 PRI) are the CO lines, . IP Trunk 1 – IP Trunk 12 are the VoIP lines. Only those
equipped are displayed.
OUTGOING RESTRICTION Switch equipped with a PRI interface
If the switch is programmed with a PRI interface only this option is not presented on the Line programming
Menu.
If the switch is equipped with CO Lines “Outgoing restriction” is programmed as follows:
• From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “System Programming” is displayed.
• Select “System Programming”.
• Enter the System Programming Password and select “Lines”.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “Outgoing Restriction” is displayed.
• Select “Outgoing Restriction” option.
• The menu updates to show only the CO lines/IP Trunk Lines equipped
• Select the required line.
• The extension menu is displayed.
• Select the extensions to be restricted from selecting the line for outgoing calls.
• In default no restriction applies.
Switch equipped with a T1 interface
The menu showing the T1 lines programmed as available, in the “Equipped Lines” programming. If CO
Lines are provided these are shown as lines 25-28 depending on the number equipped. “Outgoing
Restriction” is programmed as follows: -
• From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “System Programming” is displayed.
• Select “System Programming”.
• Enter the System Programming Password and select “Lines”.
• Press the Scroll Down key () until “Outgoing Restriction” is displayed.
• Select “Outgoing Restriction” option.
• The menu updates to show all T1 lines (Line 1 - Line 24) and the CO lines/IP Trunk Lines equipped
• Select the required line.
• The extension menu is displayed.
• Select the extensions to be restricted from selecting the line for outgoing calls.
• In default no restriction applies.
