Specify Display Brightness and Contrast
You can adjust the brightness and display contrast either via the 5235 IP Phone volume controls (when the phone is idle) or via the Settings shutter.
To adjust the display contrast using the volume controls:
zRepeatedly press the volume control buttons located below the speaker
to adjust the contrast. Press the up button ( | ) to increase contrast | |
and the down button ( | ) to decrease contrast. | |
Note: You can use this method only when the phone is idle. If the phone is ringing, this action adjusts the ring volume. If the phone is in use, this action adjusts the handset, headset and speakerphone volume.
To adjust the display brightness and contrast using the Settings information:
1.Open the Settings shutter.
2.Press the scroll buttons ( 
) until the Brightness and Contrast setting is listed.
3.Press the Brightness and Contrast setting.
4.Press the scroll buttons ( 
) to adjust the brightness and contrast of your screen. If the arrow is disabled, you have adjusted the setting as far as possible in this direction.
5.Press the Save button.
Note: Press Cancel at any time to exit this shutter without making any changes.
