Common Protocol Settings Section 1-4

The DNS server manages the IP addresses and host names of the nodes that

communicate in the network. The Ethernet Unit automatically ac quires each

server's IP address from the DNS server and uses those ac quired IP

addresses.

Port No. Set the port to be used for connecting to the

DNS server. Normally, the default setting is

used.

Retry Timer Set the time to elapse before retrying when

a connection to the DNS server fails. Nor-
