SECTION 7 Using FINS Communications to Create Host Applications

This section provides information on communicating on Ethernet Systems and interconnected networks using FINS commands. The information provided in the section deals only with FINS communications in reference to Ethernet Units.

FINS commands issued from a PLC are sent via the SEND(090), RECV(098), and CMND(490) instructions programmed into the user ladder-diagram program. Refer to the CS/CJ-series Programmable Controllers Instructions Reference Manual (W340) for further details on programming these instructions.
