Preparing the notebook
To prepare the notebook for maintenance:
1Make sure that the optical disc drive is empty.
2Turn off the notebook.
3Close the LCD panel.
4Disconnect the AC adapter.
5Disconnect the network cable and all peripheral devices connected to the notebook.
6Make sure there is no memory card on the card reader slot. To remove a memory card:
aPush against the card, as if you were pushing it further into the slot, letting the card spring out
bPull the memory card out of its slot.
