7Detach the mylar tape covering the speaker cable, and then release the speaker cable from the latches securing the cable.
8Disconnect the speaker cable from the power button board.
9Remove the speaker screws, and then remove the speakers.
10Position the new speakers on the keyboard frame.
11Secure the speakers with the screws removed in step 9.
12Reconnect the speaker cable to the power button board.
13Secure the speaker cable on the keyboard frame latches.
14Cover the speaker cable with mylar tape.
15Reinstall the keyboard by performing steps 21 – 24 of the “Replacing the keyboard” procedure on page 53.
16Reinstall the palm rest module by performing steps 14 – 17 of the “Replacing the palm rest module” procedure on page 48.
17Reinstall the optical drive by performing steps 10 and 11 of the “Replacing the optical drive” procedure on page 46.
18Reinstall the hard drive by performing steps 8 and 9 of the “Replacing the hard drive” procedure on page 41.
