Preparation
About the Built-in Memory/the Card•Memory size: Approx. 50 MB
•Recordable motion pictures: QVGA (320k240 pixels) only
•The built-in memory can be use d as a temporary storage device w hen the card being used
becomes full.
•You can copy the record ed pictures to a c ard. (P87)
•The access time for the built -in memory may be longer than the access time for a card.
The following types of cards can be used with this unit.
(These cards are indicated as card in the text.)
¢The SDHC Memory Card i s a memory card standard de cided by the SD Associ ation in 2006
for high capacity memory ca rds more than 2 GB.
¢You can use an SDHC Memory Card in equipm ent th at is compatible with SDHC Mem ory
Cards however you cannot use an SDHC Memory Card in eq uipment that is only compatibl e
with SD Memory Cards. (Alw ay s read the operating instruct i ons for the equipment being
used.)
•You can only use cards with SDHC logo (ind icating compliance with the SD sta nda rd) if using
cards with 4GB or more capacity.

The following operations can be performed using this unit.
•When a card has not been insert ed : Pictures can be recorded in
the built-in memory and played back.
•When a card has been inserted: Pict u res ca n be recorded on the
card and played back.
•Clipboard pictures (P67) are stored on the built-in memory eve n if a
card is inserted.
