Compensating the Exposure

Use this function when you cannot achieve appropriate expos ure due to the difference in

brightness betwe en the subject and the background . Look at the follo wing examples.

Note

•EV is an abbreviation of [Expo su re Value]. It refers to the amount of light gi ve n to the CCD by

the aperture value and the shut te r speed.

•The exposure compensation v alue appears on the lower left of the screen.

•The set exposure value is memo rized even if the camera is turn ed off .

•The compensation range of the exposure will be limited depending on the brightness of the

subject.

compensate the exposure with 2/1.

•Select [0EV] to return to the original exposure.
