Advanced (Playback)

This mode allows you to automatically display pictures vertically if they were recorded

holding the camera vertically or ro tate pictures manua lly in 90o steps.

Select [ROTATE] on the [PLAYBACK] mode menu. (P18)

•The [ROTATE] funct ion is disa bled when [R OTATED ISP.] is set

to [OFF].

Press 2/1 to select the picture and then press

[MENU/SET].

•Motion pictures and protecte d pictures cannot be rotated.

Press 3/4 to select the direction to rotate the

picture and then press [MENU/SET].

Press [‚] to return to the m enu screen.

•Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.

Select [ROTATEDISP.] on the [PLAYBACK] mode menu. (P18)

Note

•When you play back pictures on a PC, they cannot be displayed i n the rotated directi on unless

the OS or software is compatible with Exif. Exif is a file format for still pictures which allows

recording informati on etc. to be added. It was established by “JEITA (Japan Electronics and

Information Technology Industries A ss oc iation)”.

•It may not be possible to rotate pi ct ur es that have been recorded wit h ot her equipment.

You can do the following if a mark has been added to pictures and they have been set as favorites.

•Play back only the pictures set as f avorites. ([FAVORITE PLAY])

•Play back the pictures set as fav or ites only as a slide show.

•Delete all the pictures not set as favorites. ([ALLDELETE EXCEPTÜ])

Press 4 to select [ON] and then press [MENU/SET].

•The pictures are displayed without being rotated when yo u select

[OFF].

•Refer to P31 for information ab out how to play back pictures.
