∫Canceling all the [PROTECT] settings
1Select [CANCEL] on the screen shown in step 2 and then pr ess [MENU/SET].
2Press 3 to select [YES] and then press [MENU/SET] .
3Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.
•If you press [MENU/SET] while canceling protection, the canceling will stop halfway.
Note
•The protect setting may not be effec t i ve on other equipment.
•Even if you protect pictures in th e bu ilt-in memory or a card, they will be del et ed if the built-in
memory or the card is formatted.
•Even if you do not protect pictur es on an SD Memory Card or an SDHC Memor y Card, they
cannot be deleted when the card’s Write-Protect switch is set to [LOCK].
You can add the audio a fter taking a pictur e.
Select [AUDIO DUB.] on the [PLAYBACK] mode menu. (P18)

•Audio dubbing may not work prop erly on pictures recorded by oth er equipment.
Select the picture, and then press
[MENU/SET].
When [MULTI] has be en selected
•Repeat these steps f or each picture.
•The settings are canceled w hen [MENU/
SET] is pressed again.

select the picture. Press 3/4/2/1
to select the
pictures.
B [AUDIO DUB.]Press 2/1 to select the picture and then press [MENU/SET] to start audio recording.
•The message [OVERWRITE AU D IO DATA?] screen appears
when audio has alrea dy been recorded. Press 3 to select [YES]
and then press [MENU/SET] to star t audio recording. (The
original audio is overwritten.)
•Audio is recorded from the buil t -i n microphone on the camera.
•If you press [‚], the audio dubbing is ca nceled.
Press [MENU/SET] to stop recording.
•It will automatically stop after recording about 10 seconds without
pressing [MENU/SET].
