Advanced (Recording pictures)
This is a convenient mode for shooting rapid movement or a decisive moment.
∫Picture size and aspect ratio
1Press 3/4 to selec t the picture si ze and aspect ra tio and
then press [MENU/SET] to set.
•3M (4:3), 2.5M (3:2) or 2M (16: 9) is selected as the picture siz e.
2Take pictures.
•Still pictures are taken continuously while the shutter button is
pressed fully.
•The burst speed changes acc or ding to the recording condit i on s.
•The number of burst recordi ng pictures are limited by the picture-taking conditions and the type
and/or status of the card use d.
•The number of burst record i ng pi c tures increase immediate ly after formatting.

•[QUALITY] is automatically fixed to [›].
•You can take pictures suitable for 4qk6q/10k15 cm printing .
•The shutter speed becomes 1/ 8t h of a second to 1/2000th of a second.
•The focus range becomes the s ame as macro mode. [5 cm (0. 17 feet) (Wide)/1 m (3.2 8 feet)

•The focus, zoom, e xposure, white balanc e, shutter speed and ISO sensitivity are fixed to the
settings for the first pictu re.
•The ISO sensitivity automat i c ally switches to between [ISO5 00] and [ISO800]. However, the
ISO sensitivity is increased t o make the shutter speed high-s peed.
Still pictures are ta ken continuously with flash. It i s convenient to tak e continuous st ill
pictures in dark places .
