LIVE VIEW ON-SCREEN DISPLAY (OSD)
The DX8100’s OSD consists of camera and site information that is superimposed on each view pane. Each display item in the OSD can be customized for both live and playback viewing.
Figure 15 shows the parts of the Live View OSD pane.

| REC | Indicates camera recording mode and status. A blinking REC indicator signifies event recording. |
•Green indicates normal recording.
•Blue indicates motion recording.
•Red indicates alarm recording.
•Yellow indicates ATM/POS recording.
•Purple indicates video loss recording.
•Black on white background indicates instant recording.
Site Designator
Lists the number and name of the current site.
Camera Designator
Lists the number and name of the current camera.
Facilitates mouse control of PTZ functions. Refer to Operating the
Instant Recording
Starts/stops instant recording if enabled.
