Appendix B • Passwords and Meter
Functions
Passwords can be set up on your system to prevent unauthorized access to the machine and/or to a specific account. This appendix explains the effects on system functions when using either or both types of passwords.
iNOTE: For information on setting up a password for the machine itself (referred to as a "Lock Code" in this manual), see Chapter 6, System Settings. For information on setting up a password for an account when using the optional accounting feature, see Chapter 7, Standard Accounting.
