Display Difficult to Read
You can adjust the LCD display contrast if necessary.
1.Press Menu.
2.Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change setup" and press Enter/ yes.
3.Use the Review keys to scroll to "Change display contrast?" and press Enter/yes.
4.Select the contrast you want using the keypad.
5.Press Clear/Back to return to the main screen.
Printing is Incomplete, Streaked, or Poor Quality
You may need to clean the printer nozzles to fix the printing problem.
1.Press Menu.
2.Use the Review keys to scroll to "Use ink functions?" and press
Enter/yes.
3.Use the Review keys to scroll to "Clean printer nozzles?" and press Enter/yes. A "Preparing ink Please wait..." message dis- plays as the machine performs its cleaning.
5.When prompted, insert an envelope or tape sheet into the machine.
6.At "Is test pattern OK" prompt, press Enter/yes. If the printing did not improve, you may need to replace the cartridge or print head (see Section 7 - Ink Maintenance).
