Window

Use the Comment area to make a statement about the printer. For example, you might want to indicate what the printer should be used for and when it is available. If this printer is shared, the comment entered in this area displays on the computers sharing this printer.

Use the Separator page area to insert a page between each printed document. Options for this item are available through the pull- down menu and include: none; Full; and Simple. To insert a page that includes a graphic, select Full. To insert a page that has text only, select Simple.

To look for and select the file that you want to use as the separa- tor page, click the "Browse" button

To print a test page to ensure that the printer is set up correctly, click the "Print Test Page" button.

The "OK, "Cancel", and "Apply" buttons display at the bottom of each tab window and work the same way in each window. Note that the "Apply" button is active only after a setting in the tab window is changed.

•To save the selected settings and close the Properties window, click the "OK" button.

•To save the selected setting and keep open the Properties window, click the "Apply" button.

•To close the dialog box without saving any changes made to the options in a tab window, click the "Cancel" button.
