Changing the Text Font Size

This setting allows you to adjust the display appearance when entering text

(for example, when writing a message or when adding a Contacts entry) or

when viewing a message.

To change the text font size:

1. Press > Settings > Display > Others > Font Size.

2. Select Viewor Input.

䡲Viewto select Main LCD (then Messaging or Browser) or

Sub LCD(then Names/Phone#s).

䡲Inputto select Phone#s, Messaging, or Others.

3. Select a font size and press .

Setting Return to Standby Mode

This feature allows you to select the way to return to standby mode.

To set this feature:

1. Press > Settings > Display > Others > Return to Idle.

2. A message appears. Press OK(left softkey) to continue.

3. Select Automaticallyor End Key.

䡲Automaticallyto return to standby mode automatically when

no key is pressed for 30 seconds.

䡲End Keyto return to standby mode by pressing .

Note: The End Keysetting affects the battery’s talk and standby times.

Tip: From the font preview display, select a font size by pressing the

navigation key right or left.
