Your Phone’s Settings

Setting Text Entry Options

To set your text entry options:

1. Press > Settings > Others > Text Entry.

2. Select an option and press .

䡲Auto-Capitalto turn auto-capitalization on or off.

䡲My Wordsto add a word to or edit a word in the T9 database

(see page 38).

䡲Input Languageto select the language (English or Spanish).

䡲Default Inputto select T9 word, Alphabet, or Retain Mode for

the initial entry mode.

䡲Auto-Spaceto turn the auto-spacing on or off after T9 words

you enter.

䡲

T9 Settingsto customize the T9 settings (see page 39).

䡲Add Wordto store words that you use frequently (see page 38).

䡲Helpto see the T9 instruction page.

Setting the Current Time

To set the current time when you are roaming in an area with no

digital network:

1. Press > Settings > Others > SetTime/Date.

2. Set the current time and date and press .

Note: This feature is available only when you are in an area with no digital

network available.
