DEFAULT SETTING MODE

Unit 8: Adjustment Procedures

DEFAULT SETTING MODE

The Default Settings Mode allows the printer to be returned to factory defaults. This process does not however, affect the printer’s internal counters. Host to printer interface connection is required.

The figure below provides the specific sequence of events required by the operator and the printer.

Refer to Figure 1-1 of the Introduction unit in this manual for dipswitch location.

(DSW = 1: OFF, 2: OFF, 3: OFF, 4: OFF) + Cover Open +

PRINT + POWER

Flashes orange and enters the Default Setting Mode.

Blinks green while Default

Setting in progress.

Flashes green when Default

Setting is complete.

Confirm light is green and press

POWER.

Printer shuts down.
