Unit 8: Adjustment Procedures

ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES

This unit covers all of the printer adjustment procedures that may occur following the initial configuration. Due to its simple maintenance-free design, there are few adjustments that will be required.

PITCH ADJUSTMENT

The pitch setting determines the print position on the label in relation to the eye-mark reference. The eye-mark sends a signal indicating the end of the prior label and the pitch adjustment is based on the linear distance of feed from the time the signal was transmitted.

POWER = OFF

Connect the printer to the host with RS232C cable.

Send printer operation registration command from the host and adjust the label pitch offset.

Print a label.
