Chapter C

7Remove the protective sheet from the new OPC belt cartridge. Do not touch the green part of the OPC belt cartridge.

8Put the new OPC belt cartridge into the machine guides with the flat side facing you.

9To lock the cartridge into the machine, push the belt cartridge lock levers that are on both sides of the OPC belt cartridge outwards.

0Close the inside cover, and then close the scanner unit.

ATurn the machine’s power switch back on.

Reset the OPC belt life counter

1Press Menu/Set, 7, 4.

2Press ▲ or ▼ to select OPC Belt and press Menu/Set.

The confirmation message appears on the LCD.

OPC Belt 1.Reset 2.Exit

3Press 1 to reset the life counter.

Press 2 to cancel.
