lBeforeyou clean the projector,press the Power button twice on the ECP or remote
controlto put the syst emi n Standbymode, and then allow the lampto c oolf orat least 30
minutes.
lDonot spray cleaners, solvents or compressed airnear any part of the projectorbecause
theycan damage ors tain theunit. Sprayingthe syst em couldspread a chemical mist on
someof the projector’s componentsand lamp, resulting in damageand poorimage quality.
lDonot allow liquids or commercial solvents of any kind to flow intot heprojector.

lFollowthese guidelinest o cleant heprojector:
oWipethe exterior of the projectorwit h a lint-freecloth.
oIf necessary, use a soft cloth moistened with a mild detergentto clean the projector
housing.
oDonot use abrasive cleaners, waxes or solvents.
oAvoidtouching the lens. If it is necessary to clean the lens:
oUsel iquidsor commercial solvents (such as glass cleaners) to clean the lens,
butdo not spray them directly on the system.
oUseprotective gloves and dip a lint-freec loth (such as Purestat PW2004)in an
anti-statics olvent(such as H ypercleanEE-6310).
oGentlywipe the lens from the center to the edge.D o not applyany pressure to
thelens.
