Toresolve common imageiss ues, completet hef ollowingtasks :
lEnsurethe computeror other video sourceis on andset to display a resolutionand refreshrate
supportedby the projector(see Video formatc ompatibility on page29).
lEnsurethe video sourceis properlyconnected to the projector.
lPressthe Input Select button on the remote controlor ECP to switch to the correct video
source.
If these tasks don’t resolve the issue, refert o the followingsect ions for additionaltroubleshooting
information.
Lossof signal
If avideo source signalis not detected, outof
rangeof the projector’ssupport video modesor
thesignal is being switched to a different device
orinput, the projectordoesn’t show a source
signaland instead displays the SMART logo on
ablue screen.
gTo resolvesignal loss issues
1. Waitapproximately 45 seconds for thei mageto sy nchronize.Some video signals requirea
longersynchronizationperiod.
2. Ift heimage doesn’t synchronize, check the cable connectionst o the projectorand the ECP.
3. Ensurethat the images ignalis compatiblewith t heprojector (see Videof ormatcompatibility
onpage 29).
4. Ift hereare any extension cables, switch boxes, connection wall plates or otherdevices in the
videoconnection from the computerto the projector, temporarilyremove them to ensurethey
arenot causing the videos ignalloss.
5. Ify ourprojector still doesn’t show a source signal, contact your authorizedSMART reseller.
